Congratulations to Bishop of Durham Designate Rick Simpson who visited St. Cuthbert's yesterday.

Bishop of Durham Designate Rick Simpson who visited St. Cuthbert's yesterday to meet members of the team who brought about the Baby Memorial in our churchyard. We also welcomed Joanne Nicholson, the chaplain from University Hospital North Durham, Area Dean Rev Barnaby Huish, Councillor Liz Brown and students and staff from the College of St. Hild and St. Bede whose choir are worshiping with us whilst their campus is rebuilt also joining us were clergy and students from St. Nicholas' in the market place.
